Submissions for Confirming the Validity of an Arbitration Agreement

A party requesting a court to confirm the validity of an arbitration agreement should submit the following documents:

1. a petition, including the personal information of the claimant and the respondent, i.e., the name, sex, date of birth, nationality, and residence in the case of a natural person, and the name, domicile, and legal representative's or other representative's name and title of the claimant and the respondent in the case of a legal entity or other organization;

2. the arbitration agreement;

3. a request for confirming the validity of the arbitration agreement and the reasons therefor; and

4. Chinese translations of the petition, the arbitration agreement, and other documents and information submitted if they are in a foreign language.
