Suspension of an Enforcement Action
After an award is made, the losing party shall perform the obligations under the award within the specified time period. In case of his failure to do so, the winning party may apply for enforcement of the award.
After receiving an application for enforcement, the court shall review the case and make an order to enforce the award, or make an order to suspend the enforcement of the award if the losing party applies for vacation of the award, the winning party agrees to extend the enforcement period, an interested party challenges the property to be enforced, the losing party dies or is terminated without a successor, or where the court deems it necessary and appropriate under other circumstances.
After the cause for suspension is terminated, the court shall order the enforcement action to continue.
