Enforcement Action Suspended after Security Provided
After the winning party files an application for the enforcement of the award, the enforcement court will make an order to enforce the award. The losing party, after receiving a notice from the enforcement court, may provide a security to the satisfaction of the enforcement court and request suspension of the enforcement action.
Upon receipt of the security and request, the enforcement court may suspend the enforcement action for a certain period of time granted as requested. The losing party should perform his debt within the period of time granted. In case of his failure to perform his debt with such period, the enforcement court may continue to enforce the award by taking possession of the property of the losing party or his surety or the property provided as collateral under the security.
