Enforcement Officers

Enforcement Officers

Enforcement officers are court officers responsible for the enforcement of decrees, orders, awards, etc., that have taken effect. They include judges, assistant judges, judicial police officers, clerks, and clerks.

Usually, a court has dedicated branches, which are called enforcement tribunals, responsible for taking enforcement actions as assigned by the court. A petitioner who has filed a petition for enforcement may directly contact any member of the enforcement tribunal responsible for his enforcement case, and should provide assistance in their enforcement action, for example, by providing clues and evidence of property subject to enforcement.

Enforcement officers are authorized to take mandatory measures, such as fine, arrest, detention, etc., if the individual or entity against whom/which an enforcement action is taken. But before mandatory measures are taken, the enforcement officers must produce their credentials to show that they are authorized to do so. And they make take mandatory measures only if the individual or entity subject to enforcement refuses to comply with the requirements of the enforcement officers.

After an enforcement action is finished, the enforcement officers must make a written record of the enforcement action, stating the time, place, and other details of the action. And such records must be signed or sealed by the persons present and involved in the action.
