Enforcement Measures 2
Seizure, freezing, transfer, and liquidation. Where a party against whom enforcement is sought fails to fulfill his obligations specified in a legal document according to a notice of enforcement, the people's court may inquire about the deposits, bonds, stocks, fund shares, and other properties of the party. The people's court may seize, freeze, transfer, or liquidate the property of the party against whom enforcement is sought where necessary as the case may be. Provided, however, that the property inquired, seized, frozen, transferred, or liquidated by the people's court shall not exceed the scope of the obligations of the party against whom enforcement is sought.
Where a people's court decides to seize, freeze, transfer, or liquidate any property, it shall make an order therefor and issue a notice of enforcement assistance, and the entity to which the notice is issued shall provide the assistance as notified.
