Civil Code: Authorized Representation - 2

Article 167 The principal and the representative shall be jointly and severally liable if the representative conducted any business in the name of the principal despite the fact that the representative knew or had reason to know that the business was illegal, or if the principal made no objection despite the fact that the principal knew or had reason to know that the representative's act in conducting the business was illegal.
 
Article 168 No representative may perform any civil juristic act against itself in the name of the principal unless approved or ratified by the principal.
 
No representative may perform any civil juristic act in the name of a principal against any other principal unless approved or ratified by both principals.
