Resolution of Economic Disputes:   Economic Litigation
I. Overview of Economic Litigation
(I) Concept of economic litigation
Economic litigation refers to the activities of hearing and adjudicating economic cases conducted by judicial organs in accordance with the law. Economic litigation is an activity in which the people's court, at the request of either or both parties, conducts trials and judgments in accordance with specific procedures and applicable laws. In terms of substantive law, the laws applicable to the trial of economic cases are mainly China's domestic laws, and foreign laws, international treaties China has acceded to, or international practices are also applicable according to the provisions of China's laws. In terms of procedural law, domestic law applies regardless of whether the case has international factors. Economic litigation is mainly regulated by the applicable provisions of the Civil Procedure Law of the PRC (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Procedure Law").
