IV. Economic litigation procedure
Economic litigation procedure refers to the steps and process of the people's court hearing economic cases in accordance with the law. The people's court shall apply the procedures stipulated in the Civil Procedure Law to hear economic cases. The people's courts appy a two-instance trial system to economic cases, which means that if a party challenges a decree or an order made by a people's court in a first instance case, an appeal may be filed to the people's court at the next higher level in accordance with legal procedures, and the decree or order made by the people's court at the next higher level in the second instance procedure shall be final.
